Morning Again

1 : Turning Over
2 : Family Ties
3 : America Online
4 : Minus One
5 : Remedy
6 : Hand Of Hope
7 : God Framed Me

"America On Line", "Minus One", "God Framed Me".

"are you so blind to what lies beyond the screen? are entrapped by the network beyond the network? are you confined by this prison called online? a convenience designed to keep you immobile. live in that chair, content and unaware, as technological breakthrough breaks you down. I will be the circuit breaker. we are drawn to a lack of effort, as we abandon all work ethic. there's a difference between using and being used. I am guilty of this too, but not engulfed like you. there's a difference between using and being used, you're being abused. you, the consumer have been consumed. progress sets us back. can you not see the regression this binds you to? can you not feel these shackles placed on you? when information is the pistol to your head, and the lures of luxury outweigh all that's true. america online. "

1 : Not By Birth
2 : Slave
3 : Broken Promises
4 : Puppet And Soldier
5 : No Path To Follow
6 : Cradle Of Empty Promise
7 : Martyr

"Broken promises. For moments of a false emotion.
Broken promises. Never again"

1 : Stones
2 : Seasons
3 : Murder You Call War
4 : As Tradition Dies Slowly
5 : Uncivil Hands
6 : Dictation Of Beauty
7 : Free To Decide
8 : Martyr
9 : Words Of A Chosen Few
10 : Rights Of Passage

" As Tradition Dies Slowly, Not Soon Enough For Me"

1 : Uncivil Hands
2 : Seed
3 : Stun The Evolution
4 : To Die A Bitter Death
5 : Noteworthy Instruction

The Fallen... The Few That Remain

" Since my time with Morning Again there has been a lot going on within the hardcore scene, and it seems to be changing for the worse. Every day there seems to be less and less involvement with the politics in the hardcore scene. I hear comments all the time that politics have no place in hardcore and I don't understand how this has come about so quickly. Of all the bands around today, how many of them give something positive to think about? There are definitely some left, but not nearly as many as there should be. This is not to say that non-political hardcore band has no place in the scene, because there are plenty of great bands out there like that."
[...]
The countless conversations that made me feel being in a hardcore band saved me from living the same pointless life that everyone else was living. What made me different was that I was open to new ideas presented to me by people I met, books I read and songs I listened to. I realized that there was so much more to life than going to school just so I could work forty hours a week at some job I hated to make everyone else happy. I realized that there were things I could do to make myself a better person. I felt That I Had a brand new chance at life when I got into hardcore because I learned so much. That, however, is only the first step.

Many have given the facts that it's not "cool" to be vegan or straightedge anymore. Many have started to become more accepting of ideas within the hardcore scene and everyday life that they used to be so much against. Politics do have place in hardcore. One of the most important aspects of hardcore is sharing information with each other so we can learn and improve ourselves. The face that keeping you mind clean and abstaining from drugs and alcohol is still the most logical thing to do has not changed. For The Fallen, you obviously never understood why you changed in the first place. For the few that remain, keep your heap up and continue to live, learn and expand your mind. It is your responsibility to keep the spirit alive
[...]
To make a positive change in your life and live by your own rules. "
